EVP, IP Federation Institute

Job Description:

The International Pickleball Federation (IPF) is searching for an individual to fill the position who will be responsible for the International Pickleball Federation Institute which certifies officials and oversees the development and maintenance of the IPF International Pickleball Rulebook. The EVP of the IP-Federation reports to the Board of the Director of the Federation. This position is a voluntary position, and all work is conducted virtually.

Responsibilities:

• Advise the Board of Directors on all matters pertaining to pickleball rules and officiating of internationally sanctioned pickleball competitions and events.
• Requires intimate knowledge of operations of international pickleball tournaments that will be sanctioned by International Pickleball (IP).
• Develops and maintains the IPF Programs of Instruction for the development of internationally certified tournament officials.
• Prepare for and conduct global training events.
• Maintains the IPF Official International Pickleball Rulebook.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in relevant field.
• Minimum of two years of athletic administrative experience.
• Self-directed, motivated, and demonstration of strong initiative.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and to supervise others.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations, as part of a team, and collaborate with others.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and maintain compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
