EVP, Marketing & Public Relations

Job Description:

The International Pickleball Federation (IPF) is seeking an organized individual to manage, create and execute a comprehensive marketing campaign for a international sports federation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in managing the administrative side by maintaining a marketing budget; cultivate vendor relationships; negotiate advertising contracts; meet deadlines; give presentations; communicate with high-end clientele; and, be prepared to change objectives to meet the needs of prioritizing projects. This position is a voluntary position, and all work is conducted virtually. This position will become a paid position when moved to International Pickleball Investment Corporation (IPI).

Responsibilities:

• Work with design personnel and outside agencies to execute complete marketing campaigns.
• Oversee the production of print presentations and collaterals, advertising spreads, website graphics, display banners, etc. to specifications across different media outlets including flyers, brochures, advertisements, email blasts, signage and other marketing collateral.
• Establish the look and feel for various interfaces, including websites, mobile devices, and apps.
• Knowledge of print marketing and implementation - EDD, etc.
• Comfortable communication with clientele and presenting campaigns.
• Knowledge of typography, color, print and digital production.
• Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• General writing skills, ability to edit and write copy for various marketing pieces.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the field of communications: advertising, public relations, journalism or marketing is preferred.
• Proficiency in IT applications (Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail systems) and a basic understanding of HTML (Web updates, email creation), basic knowledge of Illustrator and Adobe Suite a plus.
• Three or more years’ experience working with an advertising agency or in a marketing division of a corporation preferred.
• A self-starter with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently is required with experience in project management a plus.
• Must maintain the highest level of organization, creativity, and professionalism in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills are required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
