EVP, International Pickleball Rules

Job Description:

The International Pickleball Federation (IPF) is searching for an individual to fill the position who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the international Rules of Pickleball. The EVP, International Pickleball Rules, reports to the IPF Board of Directors. This position is a voluntary position, and all work is conducted virtually.

Responsibilities:

• Advise the Board of Directors on all matters pertaining to international pickleball rules and rule changes.
• Liaisons with national pickleball federations concerning tournament rules and adoption of the IPF International Rulebook.
• Prepare for and conduct annual IP rule conferences and events.
• Serve as the IP International Judge of Pickleball Sports Tournaments and Competitions.
• Process, record, assist with filing and maintaining International pickleball records pertaining to rules, changes and adoptions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in relevant field.
• Minimum of two years of athletic administrative experience.
• Self-directed, motivated, and demonstration of strong initiative.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and to supervise others.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations, as part of a team, and collaborate with others.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and maintain compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
